A pre-installation check
1. Check carefully check the valve model, specifications meet the requirements of the drawings.
2. Check valve stem and valve flap is flexible, with or without jamming and skew.
3. Check the valve for damage, the thread of the thread is correct and complete.
4. Check the valve seat and the combination of the valve body is solid, valve and valve seat, bonnet and valve body, stem and valve coupling.
5. Check the valve mats, packing and fasteners (bolts) are suitable for the nature of the working medium requirements.
6. For the old or shelved longer pressure relief valve should be demolished, dust, sand and other debris should be cleaned with water.
7. Clear the opening cover, check the degree of sealing, the valve flap must be closed tight.
General provisions of the installation
1. The position of the valve installation should not interfere with the operation, disassembly and maintenance of the equipment, piping and the valve body, taking into account the appearance of the assembled appearance.
2. Horizontal pipe on the valve, stem up to install, or tilt a certain angle to install, can not be hand-down to install. High-altitude pipes on the valve, stem and hand wheel can be installed horizontally, with a vertical low chain of remote control valve opening and closing.
3. Arrange symmetry, neat and beautiful; riser on the valve, the process allows the premise of the valve hand wheel to the most appropriate operation of the chest, generally 1.0-1.2m away from the ground is appropriate, and the stem must follow the operator Direction installation.
4 side by side on the valve on the tube, the center line is best consistent, and the hand wheel between the net distance of not less than 100mm; side by side the pipeline should be staggered to install the pipeline to reduce the pipe spacing.
5. In the pump, heat exchanger and other equipment to install the heavier valve, the valve bracket should be set; frequently operated and installed in the operating surface above 1.8m from the valve, should be set up a fixed operating platform.
6. Valve on the valve body with arrow mark, the arrow is the direction of the flow of the media. When installing the valve, it should be noted that the arrows point to the same flow as the medium in the pipe.
7. When installing the flange valve, make sure that the two flanges are parallel and concentric with each other. Do not use double gasket.
8. When installing the threaded valve, a threaded valve should be fitted with a union for ease of removal. The settings should take into account the convenience of maintenance, usually the first flow through the valve after the flow through the live.
Installation Notes
1. Valve body material made of cast iron, brittle, it is not subject to heavy impact.
2. When handling the valve, do not allow hand throw; lifting, hoisting the valve, the rope should be tied to the valve body, is strictly tied to the hand wheel, stem and flange bolt holes.
3. The valve should be installed in the operation, maintenance and maintenance of the most convenient place, is strictly prohibited in the ground. Directly buried and trench within the pipeline on the valve, should be set to check the well room, in order to facilitate the valve opening and closing and regulation.
4. Should ensure that the thread is intact, and in the thread on the wound, wiping the oil or wrapped around the PTFE raw material, fastener, need to use a wrench stuck into the tube at one end of the hexagonal body.
5. When installing the flange valve, pay attention to the diagonal direction of the connection bolts, twist force to be uniform, to prevent the gasket deviation or cause deformation and damage the valve body.
6. The valve should be kept closed during installation. Close to the wall of the threaded valve, the installation often need to remove the valve stem and hand wheel in order to twist. In the demolition should be twisted handwheel to keep the valve open state, and then disassemble.
