We finished the extended cycle test on Monday.
It is very positive as after about 15.000 cycles, the valves are still running.
You can hear and see that they get to the end of their lifetime (the bigger ones are not running very smoothely anymore), but they are still runnning and working.
So for cycling in typical conditions (with water, that wets the packing) and longer times between the cycles, we are estimating at least about 30.000 - 35.000 cycles.
In normal use (4-6 switchings per day), that means about 14 - 24 years MTTF. Our minimum target is 8 - 10 years, so the testing is completed sucessfully.

The ball valves sales develops quite well and we just finished future planning for the next 2-3 years and see, that the ball valves will overtake the solenoid valves in sales by the end of 2020.
So we calculate quite a rapid growth for that ;)
